I wish i had this book when i first started learning CAD!
I've been struggling learning CAD for a long time now and after working through the first few projects i feel like im finally actually getting it. Just went the Youtube route which never really taught me the cncepts well enough.
Next step is to finally make and 3d print some of my ideas!

A prefect books to rely on
I bought this after attending a Fusion Fundamentals webinar that was taught using this book as an accompaniment. It’s perfect to support live teaching and I’ll be using it with my own students. The projects are the right blend of engaging / relevant / challenging and the extra “stretch” pages make the learning really fun.

Perfect for STEM Teachers!
As a middle school STEM teacher, Fusion Fundamentals for Instructors was exactly what I needed. It made understanding the principles of CAD and Fusion clear and straightforward - something which I’ve struggled with when trying to self-teach from YouTube - and it’s full of practical tips for teaching it - core vocabulary, relatable challenges, example assessment rubrics… the brick ring was my favourite.
It took me about a week to finish this book, everyday in about 90 minute chunks. I feel more prepared to bring Fusion tools to my students! The book has extra teacher only pages with answers, explanations and useful links.
