CAD Class aligns with the certifications educators and programs rely on, starting with Autodesk and expanding into additional platforms.
The Autodesk Certified User (ACU) Fusion 360 certification is where most programs begin. It covers core skills like sketching, modeling, assemblies, and design workflows. Our Fusion Fundamentals course follows that same progression, giving you a clear structure to teach those concepts through guided, hands-on projects.
For more advanced programs, the Autodesk certification for mechanical design using Fusion 360 focuses on parametric modeling, complex assemblies, and real-world applications. The Mastering Autodesk Fusion course supports that next step with deeper projects and more advanced design challenges.
Additional pathways, including SolidWorks CSWA and Onshape Associate certifications, are in development, giving programs more flexibility as they grow.
When certification is built into your program, the impact goes beyond a single exam.
It creates structure, strengthens outcomes, and gives you measurable progress you can point to with confidence. Programs that integrate certification are better positioned to support career readiness, demonstrate technical skill development, and align with CTE and Perkins funding requirements.
It removes uncertainty. You’re not piecing together materials or guessing what matters most. You’re following a system that connects instruction, skill-building, and certification outcomes in a clear and repeatable way.
it results in stronger portfolios, more confidence, and recognized credentials that carry weight beyond the program.

CAD Class is designed to help you lead with confidence. The curriculum aligns directly with certification standards, so what you teach naturally builds toward what’s assessed. Each project reinforces the skills learners need, making exam preparation part of the learning process rather than a separate effort.
We also support implementation across educational programs, including guidance on certification requirements, testing access, and how to integrate exams into your existing structure. For institutions working at scale, this creates consistency across educators and clearer visibility into outcomes.
Our results come from the simple idea that when students understand what they're building
and why, they stay engaged and perform better.
Certification doesn’t need to feel complicated or disconnected from the classroom. With the right structure,
the right projects, and the right support, it becomes a natural outcome of the learning process.
