An amazing book for home schooling

I homeschool my 13 year old daughter who is really interested in design and engineering. This book was perfect for her, and she pretty much self-taught herself the software in a few days. … She really likes the challenges which get harder as the book progresses and required her to use skills and techniques from earlier sections. … She is now a really slick 3D designer and I think she has got a really solid foundation to build on thanks to Mastering Tinkercad.

Really fun and engaging if you want to learn Tinkercad

I bought this for my 14-year-old son who wants to be an engineer but has never used CAD. From the very first page, the book is engaging, colorful, and fun, and he was immediately hooked. … For any teenager interested in engineering or 3D design, this book is a fantastic introduction to this CAD software. The chapters are well-paced, the instructions are clear, and it really sparked my son's creativity and passion for design. Highly recommended!

Excellent resource for CAD beginners

As a design educator, I'm always seeking out resources that support self-directed learning in CAD. This book serves as an excellent starting point for beginners, guiding students through each stage, from mastering the fundamentals of Tinkercad to crafting intricate designs ready for CNC machines. Its clear presentation and step-by-step approach make it accessible for learners of all levels. … I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone embarking on their CAD journey, as well as to fellow educators seeking to integrate CAD into their curriculum.

Perfect addition to Tinkercad's introductory lessons

As a maker educator, Tinkercad has been in my "toolbox" for a long time and Mastering Tinkercad Student is a welcome addition.

With clear examples across device types (tablets and laptops), helpful illustrations, and even some sections on micro:bits, circuits, and code blocks, it's an all around great buy.
